Když se ukázalo, že jediná časově smysluplná cesta, jak získat pracovní víza do Japonska, bude absolvovat test v Manile, přišlo mi to jak bizarní příležitost se podívat někam, kam bych se jinak nikdy nepodíval. Upřímně jsem do tý doby ani nevěděl, že město jménem Manila existuje a Filipíny bych na slepý mapě nenašel.

Recently, I got this steel frame to build kind of a neo-retro road bike) out of it. The frame has this perverse S-shaped seat tube. It looks cool but places the front derailleur too high and forward resulting in the chain rubbing against the bottom of the cage. I designed this little spacer that goes between the derailleur and the frame to move the derailleur back and down and to rotate it a few degrees - effectively rotating it around the cranks’ axis.
When (as a god damn stoned idiot) I broke my pinky carbon I was left with a complete bike minus the frameset. I envisioned some nice oldschool steel frame I’d just throw all the parts on to get that neo/retro look.
